Is Good Snu Snu

Guild Charter

Statement of Intent:  Our primary mission is to enjoy each other and enjoy the game.  We do not expect to grow beyond 10 man raid content and plan on maintaining our membership to suite such an environment.  If we get enough interest we are open to expanding but will not expand beyond a single 25 man raid team.  We do not intend on measuring ourselves against any other guilds and we fully expect to see all endgame content together and enjoying it as we do.

Rules of Conduct:  The Golden rule applies here.  Treat others as you would like to be treated and always be honest.  The detriment of your conduct will be determined by the guild as a whole.  If there are issues with an individual the guild will be, judge, jury and executioner.

Requirements:  There are not many requirements for a guild of our size.  Do not disrespect your friends and family is of the utmost importance.

Recruiting Policy:  We are primarily looking for individuals that are available for play from 2pm (EST) till whenever on weekends and from 6 to 10 pm EST on weekdays.  We want to progress, have plenty of people for groups and not deal with the issue of never having enough people on in order to accomplish our goals.  In order to do that we need individuals that will be available at relativily the same time.  If you play with some really close friends or significant others please annotate in your application and let us know if they are going to be applying as well.

Please refer to the Home Page as to what positions are currently open and allow up to 7 days before expecting a reply as the membership needs time to review your application, ask you any questions they may have via private message and vote.  You should receive an e-mail soon after completing your application confirming that we have received it.

Ranking System:  The ranking system is simple.  Since the guild is intended to run itself with so few individuals I see no reason for any type of Officer positions.  There will only be 4 main ranks and a rank each for non-active friends and family in the guild:

  • Grand Marshal:  Guild Master
  • Marshal:  Members
    • Full Forum Access
    • Full Bank Access
    • Alts allowed into the guild

  • Knight:  Alts

  • Private:  New members in their probationary period.  There is a 1 month probationary period.  Voting will be opened for Marshals 8 days prior to a Private reaching their 1 month anniversary and last for 7 days.  On the 8th day the Private will either be promoted and given a guild tabord or will be sent a private message from the Guild Master explaining the reason for the delay in promotion.  Promotions will be delayed in 2 week intervals.  If a Private is not promoted by their 2nd month anniversary they will be politely asked to leave the guild.
  • Family
  • Friends

Raiding Policy:

  • Be early and be prepared.
  • Vetrilo (listening ability only required)
  • Current Version of Omen Threat Meter
  • Current Version of either Big Wigs or Deadly Boss Mods
  • Be fully prepared to have a great time.

Loot Policy:  The standard Need or Greed, one item per raid per night.  Obviously I would expect that we will look out for one another.  In the event you are not paying attention and take something that you were not supposed to you will be at the mercy of the guild, which could include repercussions as severe as asking you to leave the guild.  See Looting Policies and Procedures for more information.

Guild Bank Policy:  The vault will be bought by the people for the people.  Anyone accused of abusing the vault will be brought before the guild and the guild will determine what is to be done.

Voting:  Will be done on a 70% majority basis.  This means that it will not be just a simple majority winning.  For example: On a simple "Yes" or "No" vote with 10 people voting in order for "Yes" to win 7 people would have to vote "Yes".  If 6 voted yes and 4 voted no then we would not have a 70% majority and the motion would fail.
